Putting ‘Pen’ in Pendennis: Writing with a Sense of the Place (Falmouth) with Steph Haxton

Pendennis Castle, iconic, magnificent, inspirational and overlooking the Fal is the venue for this fantastic day school which will use the history of the site as inspiration for creative writing, fiction – or non-fiction -exploring the history, capturing the atmosphere and putting the past on the page.

Author and historian, Steph Haxton, who’s second novel has recently been published, will combine her experience to help students get the best from this magnificent monument.

No experience required, and the day will cover History, creative writing.

Please note: The classroom has disabled access, however, due to the historic nature of the building and uneven ground on the headland, disabled access to parts of the keep and to the archaeological remains will be limited.

Please bring a packed lunch and drink with you, however, there is a restaurant in the grounds of Pendennis Castle should you prefer to have lunch there.
