Permaculture Design Residential Course Cornwall

This 2 week residential course at Keveral Organic Farm on the Cornish coast is a unique opportunity to live and learn with like-minded people in a supportive and beautiful co-operatively run housing and land project where you will see permaculture in action. Teaching, field trips, Permaculture Association membership and certification are all included and students who have completed the design course at Keveral have gone on to implement permaculture in a variety ways in this country and abroad.  Visit Keveral Organic Farm via this link:

Camping (in own tent) and vegetarian food will be available and there will be free time to enjoy the Cornish coast and countryside.  Students will require notebooks, pens, working boots protective/outdoor clothing for all weathers and camping equipment.  (A full list will be sent to all students prior to course start).

Course content will involve:

  • An introduction to permaculture
  • Permaculture ethics and principles
  • Ecological principles and observation skills
  • Trees, agroforestry and forest gardening
  • Soil, water and composting toilets
  • Wild food and fungi in permaculture
  • People care, using tools, group & personal observation skills & methods
  • Urban permaculture, and legal structures
